What is microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent solution for brows without using makeup! It is a procedure using a small blade to implant pigment manually in hair like incision strokes along the eyebrow to enhance, reshape or create a natural looking appearance on the brows.
To minimize any discomfort, numbing cream is applied to the brows 30-40 minutes prior to the procedure. We map out a shape to suit your features and once you have approved the design, shape and colour the treatment begins.

It is very common for your body to try to reject the pigment so you may experience a significant lightening by up to 60-80%. The effects can last up to 12-24 months, depending on your skin type, after which the pigment naturally fades and may leave a pigment shadow on your brows. The results are very natural and lifelike, giving the brows a natural, fuller look.

It is important to follow the aftercare instructions by protecting freshly bladed brows from potential sources of bacteria–no sweaty workouts, swimming, sun or saunas.

Some patients experience itching and redness during the first week, however following the aftercare instructions will minimize any discomfort. The healing process is a strange beast - your brows will look significantly darker at first, and then they may appear to disappear altogether for a couple of weeks and then they will reappear. A second session should be booked 6-8 weeks after the initial appointment.
