Really, the name permanent jewellery is such an oxymoron! We actually DON'T want your jewellery to be permanent!
If there were ever an accident, we would want your jewellery to break before it did any physical harm to you! With that said, it's really amazing how well these beautiful chains can hold up to everyday wear!
If you find that your bracelet is breaking frequently, we may need to look at a heavier piece or permanent jewellery may not be suitable for your lifestyle and we can add a clasp as an option.
I'm always happy to reweld!
Be sure to keep your chain and I am happy to reweld it on!

Like any piece of jewellery that is lost, we are unable to provide a refund!
Because gold-filled chain has solid gold on the outside, it will rarely tarnish. Sterling silver is more prone to tarnishing, however the easiest way to prevent tarnish is to wear it all the time! Check! :)
If you are applying any oils or body products (spray tans, bug spray, sunscreen, etc) be sure to rinse the chain after applying. The products themselves may not cause your jewellery tarnish, however a mix of products and our own body's PH level can cause tarnishing in some cases. Most people will know if their body tends to turn metals! Some water sources (sea salt, chlorine, sulfer etc) may also cause tarnishing!
The easiest care instruction is to wash the chain off every time you wash your hands!
In the rare case where you are unable to remove any tarnish from your jewellery, I'm happy to remove it, dip it and reweld it for you!
No problem, life happens!
To keep the integrity of the chain, find the ring that we used to weld the ends of the chain together. I find the easiest method to cut that rin is using nail clippers, they are strong enough to clip the sterling or gold-filled ring and small enough to control where you are cutting with ease.
Be sure to keep the chain in a safe place and I can reweld it on for you or we can add a clasp for your convenience.
Providing the bracelet broke at the welded ring, I should be able to fix it no problem and I likely won't charge you as long as it is a simple fix.
If the chain itself has broken we might be able to find a solution to fix it with a connector for a small fee for the connector.
The easiest way is to rinse it after any application of creams, lotions or chemicals. Whenever you wash your hands, give your chains a wash as well!
I have also provided a polishing cloth with your purchase that is great to use after your shower.
A deeper cleaning may be needed from time to time, I have also included a small brush that you can use to gently scrub with Dawn dish soap!
Silver is more prone to oxidation especially with heavily chlorinated spa's and pools - if you have been unable to clean the piece with the methods above, try a gentle scrub with a soft brush and a paste of baking soda/water.
